What we do & how we do it
Operating since 2019, Arc Bookkeeping, LLC is a woman owned small business solution seeker. We work with all kinds of businesses, from sole proprietors to multi-entity non-profits. Be you a flute player, a martial arts instructor, or a manufacturer of costly machines, we hope to help you design efficient systems and assist in keeping your financial data clear.
Do we aim to spend as little time working as possible? Yes… but we hope you can do that too. We hope you can get out outside if the day is sunny, or stay in bed if it’s siren song is too tempting. Our energy is precious, and we aim to help you set yourself free from administrative traps. We know you didn’t go into business to spend hours categorizing receipts, so let us do that for you.
We aim to make your bookkeeping workflow as efficient as possible. In our opinion, the best way to do this is to split the admin work from the accounting work. On our end, we’ll handle keeping things organized & legible, with filings handled in a timely fashion so you can keep relax and run the operating side of your business. We can help you come up with systems to lighten your administrative load and make sure your books are up to date, since your data supports your financial liberation.
We believe it is important that small business owners be involved in their day to day. Keeping in touch with your own client & employee goings-on is crucial if you want to stay in tune with the pulse of your business. It’s also a good way to remain empathetic as you pull in your riches (we hope)! This is why we do not handle anything to do with payroll processing, invoicing or bill paying. Who we are
Anchovy Mae
director of work/life balance
My role at is to provide emotional support for those whose heads start pounding at the mere thought of looking at a spreadsheet.
My hobbies include nocturnal guarding, exploring, and making new friends by chasing them. I also enjoy gentle affection. My favorite places are the beach, my own bed, and anywhere that has cheese.

Alexa Renaud Clark
owner & bookkeeper
A daughter of small business owners and now one myself, my background outside of accounting work is in music performance and food production. I am familiar with that space between creation and presentation, when administrative tasks begin revealing themselves and the artist must find balance.
I prioritize ethics over profit, and believe that it is important for small businesses to examine their immediate impact in their community by paying fair, livable wages and divesting from problematic practices.
